Rachelle S. Ferraro, the daughter of an Italian immigrant, was born and raised in New Jersey before moving to Arizona where she graduated from High School. She then returned to the East Coast to obtain her Bachelors Degree in Political Science from Wellesley College. Her degree concentrated in Constitutional Law. Ms. Ferraro came back to Arizona to obtain her Juris Doctor Degree at the University of Arizona College of Law before settling down in Phoenix.
Sworn into the practice of law in Arizona in 1998, Ms. Ferraro has always worked in the private sector practicing criminal defense, although she has handled some indigent defense work as well. She has never prosecuted, but has always defended people's Constitutional rights from governmental infringement. Ms. Ferraro prides herself on "thinking outside the box" and addresses each client's matter the way she would want the case handled if she or a loved one were the client. Emphasizing those same principles, Ms. Ferraro started her own firm in 2008 focusing exclusively on criminal defense. Owning a small firm, she is able to provide individualized attention and quality representation to her clients at an affordable price.
In 2006, Ms. Ferraro was certified as a Criminal Law Specialist by the Arizona State Bar Board of Specialization. She maintains that certification today and accordingly stands out at the top of her field of practice. Ms. Ferraro has tried in excess of ninety (90) jury trials in local, justice, state and federal courts and has obtained Not Guilty verdicts and dismissals in manslaughter, rape, kidnapping, attempted robbery, drug sales, drug possession, aggravated assaults, DUIs and many other areas. Because she also gets involved before charges are filed whenever possible, she has been able to prevent charges from being filed in aggravated assault, money laundering, sexual assault, child molestation, drug cases and several other situations as well.
