Over the course of a year, case originally containing 3 criminal counts were dismissed one by one. It was a accident case where a civil witness followed client to her home. The low reading case was finally dismissed after convincing the state it had no reasonable likelihood of conviction. Focus was then shifted to the "impaired" charge and an accident reconstruction to show it was a malfunction with the car and not impairment that caused the accident. The state relented after months of urging and dismissed the impaired DUI, leaving on the leaving the scene of the accident. Due to a technicality, the State was unable to proceed on the morning of trial. Entire case dismissed in a piece meal fashion.
