Appeal was successful in overturning a city court's finding that client was guilty of refusing to obey a police officer. Client was charged with a City Code violation of refusing to obey a police officer's orders during a criminal investigation. Despite the officer's testimony to the contrary, the appellate court reviewed the evidence and determined the body camera footage did not confirm the officer's testimony that client had willfully refused to obey the officer's commands. Client's conviction was overturned and a finding of Not Guilty was entered on her record.
