After thorough investigation revealed the two police officers who conducted the traffic stop in this matter conflicted significantly in whether there were lawful grounds for continued detention of client, a motion to suppress all evidence that was obtained from client was filed. A motion to dismiss for violation of client's right to counsel was also filed. At the time the hearings were supposed to begin, the prosecutor, who was concerned about the merit of the motions, dismissed all criminal charges in exchange for a plea of responsible to civil traffic violations.
